Yeah, and we're here to keep on our Kindred's Curse saga. Uh we did our recap of Glow last week, Glow of the Everflame, gotten a lot of really fun feedback on it. A lot of people really like the episode. Yay! We love that. You saw an appearance of our new mascot, uh Clifford, the dog. My son. Um, child, your son. Uh, and we are you birthed him.
SPEAKER_01I have a birth certificate. Oh, this little paw print on it.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00Can you imagine?
SPEAKER_02That's so cute. Why aren't we given anyways? Okay, that's a whole topic. Guys, we're here to fan cast Glow of the Everflame. We are, which is what unsurprisingly, we are. We are here to do that. If you are new here, again, wrong place to start, babe. This ain't it. Please go back. Go back. Start off with our playlist. We have a whole playlist of the Kindred's Curse Saga where we are recapping Spark of the Everflame, fan casting Spark of the Everflame. We did uh Glow of the Everflame last week, and now we are here to do the fan cast. So make sure you go back, start with that playlist, then go back to our Plated Prisoner series, then go back to everything else that we've done on this podcast. Make sure you like, share, subscribe, comment. Comment, please talk to us. Are you guys liking this? Are you hating it? Do you want more dogs? What's going on? More dogs. How do you feel about the content? Do you like it? Okay. Are we pleased?
SPEAKER_00Are we pleasing you? Inconvenience to men today. You follow that girl. What is her name? Inconvenience to man today? Not enough. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Can we tag? We gotta tag it. We'll look it up later. We'll look it up later and we're gonna tag it. You're right. That is where I got that voice.
SPEAKER_01I ask myself repeatedly if I've inconvenienced enough men today.
SPEAKER_00Have you a good men today?
SPEAKER_02Let's kick it. Let's kick out. We have a some book news. We have some things that have happened this week. Okay. First things first. I'm the realist. Emily. Mm-hmm. That's me.
SPEAKER_01Did you complete your homework? I did. I completed the assignment, which is not fucking some random stranger, Allie. Uh, but I did in fact watch.
SPEAKER_00I made a reference to your show! I didn't even get it. I completed your friendly.
SPEAKER_02I didn't even set it up that way. I was just talking about homework because like you did your homework. You did it.
SPEAKER_01I put it. I watched every episode of off campus. Okay, here's the thing. I think if I had watched it before everybody in the world told me it was the greatest thing ever, I would maybe feel differently about it.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Also, I watched it on Amazon Prime, which I apparently have with ads, and this show is not cut for commercial breaks. So that was like a very jarring experience, and I should have just bought it out. Like I should have picked that because it was really aggressive. So I'm gonna say, like a minus B plus. Every time I think about it, certain scenes are really good, and I really loved a lot of the scenes and a lot of the characters, but like the whole thing as a whole was not as amazing for me as it was for you. However, I love the actors. I accept Belmont, what's his bucket, as Luther. I don't bums me out because I have was have never been so sure about anything in my life as I don't think you're wrong.
SPEAKER_02I still don't think you're wrong about Connor's story. I really don't. I I still think you are it's a correct choice.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I the scene you told me about was fantastic.
SPEAKER_02Wasn't that so good?
SPEAKER_01But also here, my thing is like that was scene, that was episode three of eight. And then like we don't nothing else is kinda like, I don't know. I felt the pacing was a little weird, and I also have decided that as a trope, I really hate fake dating. I just really hate it. I wish I'm so sorry. I wish Josh Houston wasn't even in it. And I wish he she, I wish Belmont had just paid what's his name? Garrett. I wish Garrett had just paid her to be his tutor, and then they like then that was like it became like a forced proximity trope instead of a fake dating trope. I did not like the fake dating trope. I think if that had happened and I watched it without ads, it would have been the greatest thing I've ever seen in my life. He is exceptionally hot, and I take back what I said after episode one, which was I texted you and I said he's not hot. I was wrong. I didn't think he was hot in episode two.
SPEAKER_02I didn't really know what to respond because first of all, what you said was, hey, I'm like five seconds into this and I don't think he's hot. And I wanted to, I literally it took everything within me not to send you a voice text being like, read your own message. You said you're five seconds into it. What do you expect?
SPEAKER_01I was like, I expected to be wowed. I was wowed by Connor's story.
SPEAKER_02I had to sit there like this and be like, I think I even told you until episode three.
SPEAKER_01And then I watched it together and I was like, I'm gonna text Loretta and this is gonna piss her off.
SPEAKER_02And it did, I was like, I was like, You can't lose your podcast host. You love her so much. Like, hold on, hold on, hold on. Our friendship's on the line here. If she just she hasn't been, she doesn't know what she's saying, she'll get there.
SPEAKER_01It's fine. Like, I was like, I know we talked about this, but Josh is not Savan. No, under any circumstances, those people are incorrect. That man is a Bodie if he's anything.
SPEAKER_02If he's anything, wasn't his acting a little cringe?
SPEAKER_00A little cringy.
SPEAKER_02Yellow, yellow. What the fuck is that song?
SPEAKER_01No, no, I mean the whole point was that it's a bad song. Her song was actually great because generally, when like there's a plot point of like, I'm gonna write this original song and it takes me the entire thing to do it, very good song. Looking at you, Hayley Steinfeld and Pitch Perfect, whichever one that was. That flashlight song is fucking dumb. Like sometimes the trope doesn't work, but it worked here. I think her song was actually really, really lovely. And I like her a lot. I wish her bras fit her better. Yes. As another member of the very large chested community, you need better support than that. My summer child, you're back to the church.
SPEAKER_02Did you see like the U shape on her? I was like, oh no.
SPEAKER_01Your back's gonna hurt a lot.
SPEAKER_02Your back's gonna hurt. Your audience gonna hurt. And that's on costuming. You know what I mean? Like that's on costuming. Also, complaint is on the music. Uh, if you're going to have a show with original music, and I think the original music was good. It was fine. It was not my favorite. Okay. And I think I would have liked it more if the needle drops for the other music, and I say this as a music licensing television professional. The mus the the popular music was too good. You got cherry pie. You got foundations, you got like what are we doing?
SPEAKER_01I did not know that cherry pie had lyrics. That was a fun discovery for me. Yeah. Oh my god, I love that. Oh. Um, but I love that there was like verses. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Obviously, I like there are verses, but I we don't know the verses because we just know she's my cherry pie. I'm glad you watched it. I did watch it.
SPEAKER_01And I do think like majority good, and there are a lot of scenes that I felt were really delightful uh and charming. I just I I really wish I had watched it without ads, and I wish I had watched it without any expectation. Fire knowledge. One more thing I liked. Since there was extremely gratuitous tits in the first episode, I'm so glad that there was also extremely gratuitous dicks in the like penultimate episode. I'm really like, we're really only gonna see Allie's talk Allie talk. Like, I we need I need some I need some dick. Let's go.
SPEAKER_02Did you scream when Baby Slade walked in?
SPEAKER_01Who the fuck is baby Slade? Like our actual cat the person we cast is Baby Slade?
SPEAKER_02Hunter Davenport is who we cast as Baby Slade.
SPEAKER_03What is that?
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. Almost puked. I didn't realize he was a grown ass man.
SPEAKER_01I was he walked on and I told I went to looked at you and I was like, that is the most unattractive, conventionally attractive man I've ever seen in my life. I don't know how they did it. Like he looks like you drew Upper West Side preppy hockey kid from memory. Like he's like that's our baby slade.
SPEAKER_02That's our baby slade. That's our baby slade. He showed up on that's he plays Charlie, his name is Charlie Evans. He plays a 15-year-old in Paradise. And then in this show, he's playing a college kid.
SPEAKER_01How old is he really?
SPEAKER_0227. Okay. So that's a lot to take in. I'm gonna have to sit with that first. No, I know. I literally went, um, how I don't like it. I think we made a retraction. I was like, I think we made a mistake.
SPEAKER_03I was like, what do we what do we do?
SPEAKER_02We need an actual child and um or like Finn Wolfard. So I think we actually picked Finn.
SPEAKER_01I think we went with Finn.
SPEAKER_02I think we did go with Finn because we were like, yeah. Which is a good choice.
SPEAKER_01We got a curveball when the internet decided that it was Ian Summerholder, even though he was not an original submission. So I think we had to work backwards from Ian Summerholder and we landed on Finn Wolfard. Finn Finn was better. Yeah, you're right.
SPEAKER_02But you are correct, we did consider him for a wasn't that like last scene hot though? I don't like men fighting. Yeah. Yeah. I don't really like men fighting. But something about him.
SPEAKER_01How sad Dean was. Also, do you know that they're doing a Quinn?
SPEAKER_02Yes, I saw that. I literally saw that before we jumped on. So their season is like the next season.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So to slightly defend the pacing, okay, which I didn't understand this because I felt the same way. I was like, cool, so now you guys are together. What's happening in the next couple episodes? Four more episodes. The switch of perspective was very uh heated rivalry-esque, where we get skip, you know, where we get like the whole different storyline and how it like bleeds in, which I was happy about. Um, I didn't realize how many books there were and then how many books, like continuation books of like people's kids. Garrett and and Hannah have twins, and one of them wants to play hockey, and one of them like and their kids have stories, and it's like this big whole universe Wathering Heights original book. And I really didn't know that. So it seems like they were trying to take the safe route of let's try to get at least two couples stories in to get another season to get two more couples to get the last two couples and then stay away from the internet as much as you can because uh a character's demise was spoiled for me immediately. Everyone being like, I can't believe like oh, this character's portrayal is so wonderful, it's gonna suck when XYZ happens. And I was like, um, a lot of people haven't read these books. And these shows often get people to read these romance hockey romance books. And now I'm not going to. And now I'm not going to because you just spoiled it for me. And so I shout out to uh those die hard bitches who keep running it, saying, These books have been out for a while. You should have read it by now. I don't read that genre.
SPEAKER_01And if a TV show is going to there's a bajillion hundred million books in the world. Like that's impossible for everybody to have read everything before the TV show comes out. Yeah. Just be nicer to people.
SPEAKER_02Just put a spoiler blocker on it. It's not a big deal. We do it all the time. I did it the other day when I was mad at Pen Cole at finding out the end of fucking heat. I did post a spoiler for heat of the everflame acknowledgments, and I blurted out. Pen Cole responded and was like, sorry about that. And I was like, I'm actually sorry.
SPEAKER_01She likes Sarpain and misery.
SPEAKER_02I think she's my favorite author. I genuinely think she's my favorite author because I like her as a person.
SPEAKER_01She's fucking hilarious in a comment section, is what she is. God, she's funny.
SPEAKER_02She just trolls people. Like that's all she does. It's great. You finished. I finished. Yeah. I'm not doing well. I'm really fucking mad.
SPEAKER_01It's okay. I just need you to know that I finished this many, many, many episodes of this podcast ago. Did I say that to you? And have had to sit here with the knowledge that our girl, spoiler tag, gets a godstone dagger to the heart at the end of the book. And I have had to sit here and be like, yeah, Loretta, it is sad, whatever's happening in the book right now. It's crazy that that's going on right now and not spoil anything for you. And you spent a significant amount of time last episode talking about how much you love. And I like dug holes into the side of my chair with my fingernail to resist spoiling extremely emotional demise.
SPEAKER_02I literally sent you my the my required I completed my homework, which was finish the fucking book and send you a voice note. And I was like, hi, um, I can't believe you had to sit with this. I'm fucking mad. Like I was like, I finished this at one in the morning. Like I'm so pissed. Um, yeah, I'm very angry at the ending. I when you said pickle, I didn't know what to describe it as. Damn, stubb it. And I with umbrush. The Umbrose Queen, like at the end. Oh, we'll we'll recap it next week. That's exactly what we're doing here, guys. So we're gonna recap heat of the Everflame next week, but I You might be calmer by then, so it might be clearer. No promises. No, I am not doing great. I'm not doing great. And I expected an ab do I this leads us into our next thing, which I'll ask you about. I am unable to confidently move on to my next read, which is Shield of Sparrows by Debbie Perry. Uh everyone loves it. You've already finished it. I can't even get past chapter three because my I feel like I'm cheating on Diem because I don't know what happened. What happened to her? What has happened to our girl? I'm whole. Right past start. I feel like I can't move on. And I was like, bitch, I have to before September. I have like 10 books I need to read before September, which I can do. It's fine. But I was like, I I just don't feel good about it. So I'm struggling with our current read, which is Shield of Sparrows. You on the other hand have finished it.
SPEAKER_01Yes. So last week I gave Shield of Sparrows a B. B plus, I believe I said. I don't remember what chapter I was on because I was listening to the dramatized audio and it's not broken up in the same way. So I don't, but she was on a horse. She, if you read the book, she was doing a lot of horseback riding. She's this is a big horseback riding-driven section of the book. Um there's a tree fort. Uh she's in a tree fort. Oh yeah, she gets to a tree fort. Spoilers. Um and I was like kind of bored with the with the endless traveling and walking. Uh, because at that time they were traveling to a place. And then this isn't I don't think this will spoil much for you, but you're Tura, Tura, the other king.
SPEAKER_02Oh, Tura. Tura. Tura.
SPEAKER_01She's in Tura when she's on a horse. But she's trying to get, she wants to go to a specific place in Tura. And you sort of realize part way through the treehouse and the horseback riding and the camping that like what she actually needs to do is not what she thought she was supposed to do. And so the purpose of the journeying becomes quite different. And it starts to like she starts to move with a lot more purpose and is less like, God, I've been on this horse for 800 years. Cause like if your main character point of view is bored, you're gonna be a little bit bored. And she's bored and like lost, like a little like, what the fuck am I doing here? And so you're like, I don't know, why are we here? Um, and it starts as she slowly starts to figure out, oh, I don't know what I'm supposed to do here. And then clearly Devney Perry went to the Sarah J. Mass School of last hundred pages because holy shit is the last chapter of this book completely unhinged. Okay. Uh, it's wild. And I immediately had to start reading the second one. So I'm like five or six chapters into writes darling.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Okay. That's a really um good way to describe this because I felt like starting to read it, she don't want to be where she is.
SPEAKER_01She wanted to be doing what she's doing.
SPEAKER_02And guess what? I didn't want to be reading it. And I was like, uh no. Like, okay, I gotta get through it. So I did put it down and I didn't read it this past weekend because I had a million things I was doing anyways. I will pick it up. I I kind of feel like uh you're like my motivator for books. Yeah. Now because I'll be like, uh, let's just take a little break. And you're like, I already finished it. And I'm like, oh fuck, okay.
SPEAKER_01I've already finished the entire series. Move move along.
SPEAKER_02Go.
SPEAKER_01There's gonna be I'm also intrigued to have you read this having not read Daughter of No Worlds, because there's a little bit of a plot point that's happening that is a little bit similar to something that ha there's the one of the plot twists in the last hundred pages reminded me very significantly of the plot twist at the end of one of Daughter of No Worlds. Okay. Like it just sort of alluded to that to me. Okay. It's really hard to talk about this without you having read any of the books that I want anything. Um so I'm interested to see how that plot twist hits for you, not having literally just read that plot twist.
SPEAKER_02I was gonna start Daughter of No Worlds because that's what I said I was gonna do. And I was like, I'm gonna jump into this one. It just felt it felt too close to Diem still. I was like, what feels separate? Yeah. More separate. And then I was like, okay, well, this bitch is already royal and is gonna be a princess or whatever. So I was like, let's start with that.
SPEAKER_01Like Odessa and Diem could not be more different in terms of email main characters. Yeah. So that was like where I was like, when we do a little palette class.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And Rights of the Starling like just came out.
SPEAKER_01So and the third one is coming out in the spring of March 2023.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so I'll have some time. Okay. Um, fun, book, bookish stuff, bookish news. I guess there's no real bookish news, but there's some casting. Fun casting news. First one I just am so excited about is uh Quinta Brunson is gonna be our Betty Boop.
SPEAKER_00Betty Boop!
SPEAKER_01I he is Betty Boop. She is Betty Boop. When she has that little like curly pixie, she is Betty Boop.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god, she is Betty Boop. And for those of you out there being like, but Betty Boop's cartoon is white.
SPEAKER_01Fuck you.
SPEAKER_02She's also pick up a book.
SPEAKER_01So pick up a history book.
SPEAKER_02Betty Boop is black. She started black, she is based off of a black woman, she was whitewashed in the mainstream media. Also read a book. She's a cartoon. She has a paper. She got her anything.
SPEAKER_01This is when I also start screaming about people who are mad about Lupita Nyango. I'm sorry. You don't think she's the most beautiful person in the entire world? Have you opened your eyes recently? Because she have you seen what was what was the magazine where La Roach styled the four women? Did you see this?
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh, and that dress she's wearing that like dips down like her hips. She's so beautiful. She is Helen of Troy. I had a very strong reaction to that photo shoot.
SPEAKER_02Helen of Troy is literally like the woman you go to war for, right? Like, like think of Mulan like we're fighting for you know, nothing right? Like that song where he's like, pork chicken. This guy's gonna seem to be a good thing. Yes, like and I'm like, I don't love that movie so much. I do you want to stay forever?
unknownIt's the best.
SPEAKER_02Do you want to stay forever? It's one of my vocal stems. Helen of Troy is literally why the whole Iliad. Yeah. That's who they're fighting for. You cannot fucking tell me that if Lupita Neango walked out wearing that dress, I would go to war. I would go to war.
SPEAKER_01And I'm a happily married woman. And I would go to war for her. It's not that serious.
SPEAKER_02I now would I've also loved to see her as Calypso.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02I think she would have Charlie's Therone.
SPEAKER_01Charlie's Therone, thank you.
SPEAKER_02Which I didn't expect. I thought she was gonna be Athena. I thought Lupita could be Calypso and Zendaya was gonna be Helen of Troy. That was my guess. Because they hadn't announced casting. They're like rolling it out really bit by bit.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01And Amy Hallway is like his mom.
SPEAKER_02Uh his wife, Penelope, his wife. And then Tom Holland is his son.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And Robert Pattinson is the bad guy. I I I love the casting so much. I think it's way smarter. Um I I d I do not understand why people can't look at her and realize she is. So stunning. Like, what the fuck are you talking about? It's race. Yeah, just straight. It's racist. It's racism. And people are being like, oh, it's not historically accurate.
SPEAKER_01It's a fucking fake book. You think this is real? Goddesses and sea monsters and cyclopses. Have you read it? Wait, this is one of my favorite fun facts. So you and I were worked on a musicale production of the Odyssey. And I learned this when I was the dramaturg for that production, which was like an insane side quest for me. I don't know why I did that. Anywho, so in the book, one of the like open opening lines or like a significant line is Homer describes the ocean as the wine dark sea. And that is interesting because wine is not blue, famously, generally. And I recently saw a TikTok that sent me down like a research rabbit hole about the history and development of language and how societies generally develop words for colors. And they'll develop words first for like black and white, and then usually red comes next. Uh, and then things like blue, other primary colors, and then things like purple and green are like much later, just like how we develop words for these colors that we see. And so at the time it was written, that was how they didn't have a word for the color blue. So like he was describing the ocean with the only words that he had that were available to him. So let's maybe not take his descriptions of color super seriously because of how language develops. Nobody fact checked that. I like I went down a rabbit hole and I like seemed very factual. If somebody knows something differently, please tell me about I would love to about it. But like I remember that reading that in college and being like, that's crazy. And then got TikTok about it with all of the like commentary about the Odyssey, but he does call it the wine dark sea or the white, yeah, the wine dark sea a lot. Um, and just generally societies develop language for colors in interesting and predictable ways.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, and yeah, I love yeah, like it's it's a fantasy. This is also uh the Odyssey has also been adapted to Epic, the musical, which I'm obsessed with. I'm obsessed with it. If you've never listened to it, I really do love it. I highly recommend they do go through the entire thing, and it's if you know the Odyssey, it's really lovely to listen to, and I super enjoyed it as someone who respectfully did a shit musical of it. Um I don't think they follow us. It's so bad. It was really bad, anyways. It was fine. We gotta move on from that trauma.
SPEAKER_01We could spend full episodes, unpack episodes. Trauma. Okay.
SPEAKER_02I picked the musical is going to be a film. Jerry Bruck Armer picked it up. They're gonna do an animated film of it. It's gonna have a theatrical release. I think that's so wonderful. And because it's animated, they can do whatever the fuck they want with it. Just like because it's it's a fantasy book that did they they defeat a hydra. There's a cyclops, uh uh, a witch turns people into piggies. Like Hidro. It is legal. Yeah. Like, how do you not so anyway?
SPEAKER_00Anyways, um Glee.
SPEAKER_02The other thing, um, there is a rumor. There is a little rumor going around that we may have found our violet for the Fourth Wing series. Now, it's the rumor is only because of who follows this actress, and this actress has recently burst out of the scene. She's had a lot of work before, but she is starring in Obsession, the new horror film that has been just released that was like a $750,000 budget, was went to like the TIFF film the International Film Festival, did really well, got a buy from Blumhouse. Blumhouse produced it. It's now in the theaters, and everyone's like, it's one of the best horror movies they've seen in years. Guy makes a wish of his crush on this thing called the One Wish Willow, and a chaos ensues. Okay. She plays the girl that becomes obsessed with him. And I guess her acting is absolutely bananas, and I've been watching clips of it, and she's very, very good. It is rumored that Indy Navrette uh is going to be our Violet Soringale. She is five foot nothing.
SPEAKER_00Fantastic.
SPEAKER_02She's little, uh, she's got a wide range of acting. She I think she would be really good. She has a little bit of a Dove Cameron look to her, which is sort of how I pick pictured Violet. Josh Houston is also following her. Michael B. Jordan is following her, she's following Michael B. Jordan. Fourth Wing Series is following her, and Rebecca Yoros is following her.
SPEAKER_01So seems some damning evidence in the social world.
SPEAKER_02Seems she might be it. And I think Dave Cameron and stuff is following her too. So maybe Dave Cameron's in it as someone. Yeah, I think. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's the rumor. The potential rumor of that. I love a rumor. That's all the bookish news I have, but I do just want to really plug um that the Mandalorian was delightful. I loved it. I fucking love Star Wars. I have Grogu nails on. Cute! Tiny baby Grogu nails.
SPEAKER_01Very cute. Love it.
SPEAKER_02And uh I fucking loved it. It was delight. It was not just the Mandalorian, it was the Mandalorian and Grogu, and Grogu gets his whole whole half of his movie by himself. It's great.
SPEAKER_00What?
SPEAKER_02You get his own like POV. It's fucking smart as shit. Like it's finally like, yeah, what's his story? Like it's I I loved it. It was so fun. Everyone should go see it.
SPEAKER_00I can't wait to see it. Okay, let's do it. Let's dive in.
SPEAKER_02Emily, are you ready? Let's take it away. I'm literally so ready. Okay. Let's take it away with the fan cast. We have 11 people to cast, I think, this time. Am I wrong?
SPEAKER_01No, it's 11.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. That's a lot. We got it. We've made some choices this round, guys. Okay.
SPEAKER_01We are fan casting glow with the everflame. Here we go. This is our cast so far.
SPEAKER_02Look at Costa D'Angelo. He's just hanging out of that frame.
SPEAKER_01I found that photo and I was like, I gotta. I gotta do it. Cause I know we hate Hawri. Um my god, wait.
SPEAKER_02Does him and do him and Luther look too similar?
SPEAKER_01They look a little similar. I'm not gonna lie to you. Um but I we can change that. Make a I think this might be one of our hottest casts. Like, hello. Everyone's really attractive. Everyone's so hot. Um literally everybody is hot. It's wild. It looks really good. We did a really good job.
SPEAKER_02Look at Diem and Arlie.
SPEAKER_01I didn't realize I'm kind of they're I'm getting the mother-daughter.
unknownYeah. Holy shit.
SPEAKER_01I'm not gonna lie to you. I thought you were off your rocker with this casting choice, and I was shocked that she won, the mom, Arlie. Um Raji P. Henson. But I am you can see it, right? Yeah. You can see it. Also, I think we tied for one of the first times with the amount of who won. Did we? I th I believe so.
SPEAKER_02Okay. My DM, you're a teller. Texas. Our. Our Andre, but you are the one who put it forth, so it should be yours.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. You, you, me, you, you, me, me, me, you.
SPEAKER_02Wait.
SPEAKER_01Is that a tie?
SPEAKER_02You, wait. Me, you, you, me, me, me, you, you, you. Is that a tie? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. Okay, there's nine. If we split Jimmy. Hey, this is not a math podcast. This is we like books.
SPEAKER_00How many tries did that take us to figure out that was a tie?
SPEAKER_02Way too many, dude.
SPEAKER_01All right, moving on. Pet to move.
SPEAKER_02Moving on.
SPEAKER_01This is our cast. It's hot. Okay, here we go.
SPEAKER_02So hot.
SPEAKER_01First up, Eleanor Courbois. Eleanor's a delight. I think she's your favorite character, right?
SPEAKER_02She is my absolute favorite. I think she's. You take it away.
SPEAKER_01Let's talk about Eleanor.
SPEAKER_02Okay. I think she's one of my favorite characters ever written in a book. And there's not a lot of her in this final book that we did, but there's a lot of her in Glow. And I adore her. I adore her. And I want to play her in some sort of fan film or the real television show, Penn. Give me a call. Look at my eyes. They're blue. Okay. Eleanor. Eleanor Quoi bois. Eleanor stands out in stark contrast to the stoicism of the descended court. She is described as a bright and lively presence with an infectious enthusiasm that brings warmth to even the most dispassionate environments. Her laughter is described as bubbly and full of life, making her a rare source of comfort and joy in an otherwise serious and duty-bound world. She embodies effortless grace, embracing her womanhood with confidence. Damn right she does. Damn fucking right she does. Eleanor's curly brown hair frames her expressive blue eyes. Pen, pay attention. Eleanor's curly brown hair.
SPEAKER_01Loretta, this is a podcast.
SPEAKER_02Frames, she'll see it. I'll send her the clip. Frames her expressive blue eyes, adding to her approachable and warm demeanor. I'm warm. You are duty, and there can still be a lightness in humanity and probably humor. What a bubbly laugh. And that's my audition tape. Thank you very much. Who do we got? I mean, do you have anything to say? No, I don't. I just love her. And I love I love. I love too. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Okay, let's go.
SPEAKER_00Did they? Oh my God. How do I know who uh was Anna Popwell? How do I know her? I know her face.
SPEAKER_02All right, guys. Here are the listeners. Emily has Ella Purnell. Yes. Love. Great choice. And yellow jacket. It's those eyeballs. Yeah, she's great. And I have Anna Popwell. Now, Anna Popewell, I'm very close to Eleanor. I truly think I would play a wonderful Eleanor. That's just me. Um Anna Popewell. Ready? Uh-huh. She is in Narnia.
SPEAKER_00She's Susan. Oh, she's Queen Susan.
SPEAKER_01I love her. Oh, and very similar to Eleanor.
SPEAKER_02Very similar. And in Rain, the CW show that I finished a couple months ago. Yeah. She plays a character who knows a lot about the court that is best friends with Mary, Queen of Scots. She is she is who I think Eleanor is based on.
SPEAKER_01Oh, wow. Okay.
SPEAKER_02And she's got bright blue eyes. She's happy and curly brown hair. Like she's just wonderful. She is 37. Okay. I'm going to be 35, so I could still play her too. Um, I don't think she's too old. I she l still looks really young.
SPEAKER_01I don't have any idea how old Eleanor is, and she's descended, so she could be 17 or 100.
SPEAKER_02It don't matter. It don't matter. I think she was uh just an obvious choice when I started reading the books. I I really, really wanted her to bring her back. And she hasn't been in a lot of things since. Like she'll do a few things once in a while. She does a lot of um humanitarian work now, which we love. We love. Um, and so I just, you know. And I know you're a Narnia girly, so I was like, I uh she's fuck it.
SPEAKER_01And yes, I love Narnia. I love that. Yeah. Um I have Ella Purnell, who is Jackie from Yellow Jackets, who gets left out in the snow and dies. Um and I just found her really engaging in that show. What sorry what you say?
SPEAKER_02And they eat her? They eat her.
SPEAKER_01Um, but really I cast her based on her eyes. Like I think she's a really engaging and talented actor, but she also looks exactly how I pictured Eleanor uh with her eye. I know her eyes are brown, but who cares? Um contacts. Contacts. The shape of the eyes, the hair, the um her general like vibe and aesthetic is exactly how I pictured Eleanor. And I just thought she was really great in her limited screen time on yellow jackets.
SPEAKER_02Who would plop down on a bed, you know what I mean? And start chit-chatting and being like, hey girl, don't wear that, wear that. Like, yeah.
unknownMm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02I love that choice.
SPEAKER_01She somebody took her seriously for the first time and she let them down. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. I love that choice. And and you're right, she doesn't get enough screen time in yellow jackets. Like she gets the flashbacks and stuff, but like, let's see what this girl can do.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I want to see her do stuff.
SPEAKER_02A very good, realistic choice, and I like it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I love both of our choices. I can't wait to see who wins.
SPEAKER_02It'll be me. Um, and then by that I mean, whoa, and by that I mean I will be cast as Eleanor. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00So I was like, uh you were like, whoa, bitch.
SPEAKER_03Hold on. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Here we go. Next. I love Alex. Um, okay. Aliks is a warrior. She has a lithe but toned body, numerous piercings, a half-shaven head, and a calculating stare. Please disregard that I clearly copied this off of the wiki and did not fully edit that sentence. And there's a little footnote link there. It's okay. Nobody worry about it. Most of the time I edit them, but sometimes I don't. Sometimes they're fine. Don't even worry about it. Um, she has a navy blue hair and a shortcut bob that comes to a point on her chin and the blue eyes of a luminous descended. She is the picture of self-control and calm. She wears skin-type black fighting leathers with uh fitted armor plates. Her top is low-cut enough to show her cleavage, as is common with descended fashion, and additionally, she is like covered in weapons. She is like she is dope, and I'm obsessed.
SPEAKER_02Okay, anything to say? Um no, I like my casting. Me too. Uh uh I felt before, prior, this was really hard until I saw the person who I cast and I went, oh fuck. Yep.
SPEAKER_01I had to dig a little bit for mine, but then I thought of somebody and I was like, oh no, that's correct. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Ready?
SPEAKER_00Who is that?
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. She looks like the key art or the fan art. Who is your tell me about your okay guys?
SPEAKER_02We have uh I have Katie M. O'Brien. Emily has Alicia Deb Debnum Carrie. Yes, correct. From the 100. Okay. I have Katie M. O'Brien. You would know her from The Mandalorian. She is Moff Gideon's right-hand general. And then goes through like this uh New Republic rehab center, and she is still very evil. Okay. She uh is also in Love Lies Bleeding, which recently came out. Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02And is fucking jacked. She's been in a lot of stuff. Uh very um femme mask style. Like, I as a bisexual woman, I was sitting there being like, I love you for two reasons. I don't know, like I I truly was like, my breath was taken away when I saw her on screen. I was like, holy fuck! Like, you're hot, like really hot. And I would be afraid of you. And if you ran this army, and DM is kind of scared of her at first. For sure. So never in my life have I seen anything else that this person has been in that Katie and O'Brien has been in. And as soon as she popped up on screen without her fuck ass hat from the Empire, and I saw that hair, I went, that's Alex. Alex. Alex Alix. Like, that's that's her right there. So I'm obsessed. I love her.
SPEAKER_01But you? Yes. So I have Lexa from the Hundred, otherwise known as Alicia Dubnum Carey, I think is how we're saying that. Um I picked her because I love the character of Lexa. I hate that she dies. Stop fridging lesbian characters. We don't need to do that anymore. I know that was like decades ago now, but still, I it hurts me. Um, and I like that she's like sneaky intimidating. Like she in the hundred, she's introduced as like a prisoner in a jail cell and is completely underestimated, and they spoil all of their plans in front of her, not realizing that she is the ruler of this nation. And I like that Alix is described as like still very feminine and lithe and like sort of more like cat, like jaguary-then super muscly and like we have Taryn for that. So I like that she's kind of sneaky, cool, and a sneaky fighter. And I just think that Alicia is beautiful and gorgeous and would look really good with a blue mohawk.
SPEAKER_02Hell yeah. Pixie cut. Both have like really good. This is where again, I'm so glad we don't make these decisions.
SPEAKER_01They're really good. I think I would cave on this one, so we gotta see what the people say.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, same.
SPEAKER_02Okay, yeah.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02Who's next? Taryn. Taryn Corbois. Here we go. Whoo, Taryn. All right. Taryn Corbois is described as ruggedly handsome with messy dark blonde waves and golden tan skin. How did you not say Connor's sort? Anyways, it's fine.
SPEAKER_00He was already cast.
SPEAKER_02He was already cast in your head. Yeah. He has a muscular build and a relaxed demeanor that contrasts with his often sharp tongue and playful antics. Taryn is playful, mischievous, and often uses humor to diffuse tense situations. While he appears carefree, he has a fiercely loyal and protective side, especially towards his family and Queen Diem, who he calls queenie. Queenie! Queenie! He is unafraid to challenge authority and mock convention. He harbors a depth of emotion and strength that emerges in critical moments.
SPEAKER_01I tell you right now, I think we have a tie. Because I knew I wasn't gonna win if I threw up anybody else. Okay, I didn't put up Connor because I'm I know exactly who you put. Well, I don't because I haven't seen it, but I am Okay, but I would spend a million dollars on who you put, and I knew that I could not throw up anybody else.
SPEAKER_02I made my choice. I put it all over the internet.
SPEAKER_01I I am aware, and I knew I was gonna lose. So yeah, I was right.
SPEAKER_02We gotta put Stephen Callan, Kalen Callan, I think it is.
SPEAKER_01Not a natural blonde, and he is way hotter with brown hair.
SPEAKER_02He's got brown hair and like scruffy beard. He's way hotter in real life. He's really hot. But I like him with blonde. I think he could, I think he'd be a perfect Terran. He's big. Yeah. He's got he's funny, like he's cute. Can you see him like chasing around? Like I just, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I I knew I wasn't gonna win because uh if I put up anybody else, because this is an objectively good choice.
SPEAKER_02He's a good choice. I'm glad that you I'm glad you watched off campus and you saw the vision.
SPEAKER_01If I watched off campus and had already lost Connor, I would have put Connor.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Uh, but I get it. And I knew I wasn't gonna win with anybody else.
SPEAKER_02Which I would have been really sad because I would have been like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. What is sick is Karen? It's fine. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And I I I do uh I do think that Connor's story could also make a really good Terrence.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh based on who he is in real life. Yes.
SPEAKER_00I think that's where goofy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. Like let him let him play something silly and goofy and you know, like like more men. Whatever. We love that part of it. Yeah. Uh I appreciate you coming to my side. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. I couldn't find a good picture of him blonde. I don't know where you found this picture. This is a better picture than his IMDB profile.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_02No, I I straight up was like, I'm not gonna find a blonde picture of him. There's no way. So I was like finding clips from off campus and was like, I'm gonna do this photo. So Yeah. Okay. That was an easy one, guys. Easy peasy. Easy peasy.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Eamon. Eamon, Eamon. What a dick. Not so easy peasy. A cunning and power, power-hungry member of House Courbois, Eamon excels in strategy and behind-the-scenes maneuvering, often prioritizing his own ambitions over loyalty or the greater good. Eamon uses his charm and sharp wit to manipulate those around him, earning a reputation as a skilled but untrustworthy political player. His polished demeanor and diplomatic approach make him appear cooperative, but underneath the surface lies a calculating nature. Mm-hmm. He is beautiful, stunning. Everything that you think that Diem thinks is a reason to distrust Luther turns out to be something that Eamon did. Eamon invited Ileana to the party. Eamon is the dickbag who trampled the child on the horse. Motherfucker. Every time that Diem starts to distrust Luther, it's Eamon's fault. And he's like, you don't understand. I have a lot of pressure. And what I think is like the testament of really good writing is I also kind of started to believe him a couple times when he was like, I'm just trying to help you the way that I know how to help you, which is through like, yeah, political manipulation. Like, let's go be a couple and like I'll stand beside you, and that's good for you. Like, and I was like, I mean, he's not wrong. Like, you gotta play the game a little bit. He is wrong. He's a He's wrong. He's a dick. We hate him. Sorry, Luther. And I'm so sorry to Taryn.
SPEAKER_02The fact that he was supposed to protect his little brother and he didn't. He didn't. And he still is just daddy's little boy. He's daddy's little pet. So that he didn't have to take the beat. Oh, I just Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Yes. Oh fuck. Oh. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Callahan Skogman?
SPEAKER_02I have Callahan Skogman.
SPEAKER_01What a name. And I have Nicholas Galatine.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Uh I'm gonna get Callahan out of the way.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, go for it.
SPEAKER_02Okay. He's from Shadow and Bone. Oh, okay. The TV series, way back when. He's done a couple of other things, but that is where I know him from. And um I had to do it, I had to do a big dig. I was digging through all the shows I've ever watched in like the last 10 years. And happened upon him, I was really looking for someone with a dimple. That's really what I wanted was like the matching dimple for the brothers. Yeah. And I found the chin dimple and I said, that'll do.
SPEAKER_01Close enough. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Callahan Skogman uh is from Wisconsin.
SPEAKER_00Oh.
SPEAKER_02He's an act, he's an actor boy from Wisconsin, so that's why it's Schookman. Skoldman. Schockman. Um I yeah, I just I think he could play him. He's really, he's very attractive. He's got a lovely smile. Obviously, he's Scoldy in this photo, but he does have a really bright smile. He looks charming. He's a little bit bigger than uh Steven would be. So it I just feel like it kind of matched. I really, you know who I wanted so bad? Uh Anthony Starr, who plays Homelander in The Boys. I think him and Steven look so fucking identical, but I do feel like he could play their dad. So if there was like a a a Gareth that we were casting, I think Anthony Starr could play their father. He's not super old. Anthony Starr is in his like mid-50s. He could do it. I think they could age him up a little bit, and I think he would really look like their father. But uh, I think your choice is the is the correct choice.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I was looking for a like pretentious pretty boy, didn't know like has never dirtied their hands in their life, and I was also racking my brain through shows I have watched and landed on both Red, White, and Royal Blue and also that weird Harry Styles.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that movie with him and Anne Hathaway.
SPEAKER_01Anne Hathaway, which the idea of you oddly charming, actually. Um, but I just he's so pretty that I think it was I I focus more on Eamon being pretty. And I feel like he could also do this slimy, shady stuff. I haven't really ever seen that from him, but I was I I was focused more on like the looks and the aesthetic of Oh yeah. And I think he's actually he think he's a really good actor. I'm delighted to see him in He-Man or whatever he's in coming.
SPEAKER_02That's what I was just about to ask. I was like, have you seen him in He-Man?
SPEAKER_01He-Man, I sure have. Uh yeah, but I think he would be great. And I think him and um are Terran. Yes, they really look great together.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think yours is absolutely the crack choice. And if anyone votes for mine, you're wrong.
SPEAKER_01Thank you so much. Since I keep done Taryn, I get to win Eamon.
SPEAKER_02He's this is correct. That's exactly what we were looking for. Nicholas Kalitzine has these like lips. Mm-hmm. He's got very pillowy lips. And I feel like she describes Eamon's. Yes, as a full mouth. Yeah. He's he's got like a full yes. That's like one of the first features. And I that's exactly that's a good one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I feel like you did good. Great choice.
SPEAKER_01Excellent choice. Okay. Remus. Did you forget we did this? I forgot that we did this. Jump scare. Jump scare. Oh, I should remove the artwork. That artwork is not by them. Um, okay, so we didn't find artwork for several people. So we uh Loretta has a fantastic idea to go off of vibes. Uh Vibes. So take it away. This one's yours.
SPEAKER_02We we solely did it's giving such and such. So uh we're gonna I'm gonna start with that. Uh since the the photo is up if you're watching us on YouTube. If you're not, uh just head over to our socials. You'll see these eventually. It's giving worm tongue. From Lord of the Rings.
SPEAKER_01This is this is worm tongue.
SPEAKER_02Remus is giving worm tongue. He's he's uh the head of the house of uh Luther's father. He's the head of House Courbois. Um he is the brother to um King Alter, a shrewd and ambitious leer leader. He deep is deeply invested in preserving his own power and influence while presenting it as house interests, right? So he's very like, oh, let me help you. I want to protect you. Um he pushes for alliances that would secure their dominance, including attempts to ensure Diem aligns with their house. Again, it's giving worm tongue. Like he's doesn't want House Corbois to fall from grace. He likes the power. He's like, oh no, I'm I'm I'm the regent. I'm just the crown regent. And and you haven't been coronated yet. So I'm definitely still calling the shots here.
SPEAKER_01He's very like, he gives the green a worm tongue in the like whispering into the king's ear of the like manipulation and the Yes. No, he she shouldn't be here. Throw her out. Who cares if Denise? Yes.
SPEAKER_02Now we we guys, we know that worm tongue isn't like what he's gonna look like. Like it's like a it's a vibe, okay. It's the vibe. He doesn't look like worm tongue. Okay.
SPEAKER_00You ready?
SPEAKER_01Yes. Mine kind of does actually. I just mine, but like a hotter version.
SPEAKER_02Mine could if they drabbed him down. Okay, ready, go. How dare you say Patrick Dempsey looks like Grima Wormtongue. I said if they drab him down. Oh okay.
SPEAKER_01Oh, right. But Luna had Patrick Dempsey for some reason.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. And you have Rufus Seawell. I do. Mm-hmm. That's a really good choice.
SPEAKER_01Explain Patrick. Really good.
SPEAKER_02I'll say Rufus looks like Belmont with the brow line.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02That's a really good one.
SPEAKER_00Right?
SPEAKER_02Really good. Okay, I have Patrick Dempsey. Yeah. Because I was thinking of who's a charmer, right? Mm-hmm. Who's a charmer? Who can uh who can kind of uh put on the face, hey everybody, cause corbois, we're so wonderful, we're so great. And behind closed doors, who could you kind of is a little bit now on the older side. He's still very handsome. Uh he's a descended, they're all beautiful, uh, could be a little cowery, right? Uh yeah. He goes to make this this blood bargain, and then once the blood bargain is broken and he has no fucking powers, who would be sitting there being like, I can I can rely on my good looks and charm, right? Anybody? And so I went with Patrick Dempsey. Okay. It was the vibe I was getting. It's not and the looks, I guess, kind of go with uh uh Lillian and and uh Luther a little bit.
SPEAKER_01I get it more with the explanation.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it was more of his like um who you who who needs to work a room. Sure. With no power other than their face and their name, who could do it. I have thought about George Clooney, but I was like, nah. Yeah. That ain't right. So I went with Patrick Dempsey instead.
SPEAKER_01I like it. Thanks. Okay, I went with Mr. Rufus, uh, based off of him in a night's tale. Uh he's in a bunch of other stuff. He's a phenomenal actor. He's been on, I have a running list of like, I should cast that person in something. Uh he's been on it for a while, and I feel like this is really where he belongs. Uh exactly what you I mean, he has in a night's tale, he obviously has a lot of power and a lot of authority, and he's very cocky. But then, like when the prince wants to joust him, he immediately is like, absolutely not. I'm like, I'm never gonna do like, and that to me is a little bit of what you were saying with the cowardly thing, because obviously our boy Heath Ledger is like, he's signed up, put him on the horse. Like he and he would not do that because he's a slimy little snake, and he is icky to the girl in that movie whose name escapes me at this present moment, who's also beautiful. And I just think looks-wise, it's kind of perfect.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it really is. It really, really is really good.
SPEAKER_01That's a good one because he's he's got like that sidelong glance and that like I just can just kind of hot, like and yeah, he's still pretty attractive, but also I believe that he would try to kill Luther's mom.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01To save his own height.
SPEAKER_02Yep. Yep. I could I could see him even and Patrick Dempsey, just at the table, kind of like at that big meeting table, kind of shifty eyes, like what's really going on here. And as soon as someone looks his direction, puts on that face. Hey, yeah, hey, hey, what's up? Oh sure, let me help. What can I do? Yeah. We're getting really good at this, and someone needs to hire us. So we really are. We really are. We're really good.
SPEAKER_01Loretta did this. Sure did. This is Perth Bennett. Okay, Perth Bennett is a personal security guard and uh to DM Bellator and a member of the Royal Guard. Uh, Perth is first recognized by Diem in book two as one of the two men that she saves in book one from the armory fire. And because she saves his life, he is willing to dedicate his entire life to her. Um, spoilers, literally the whole life. He hails from House Bennett, uh, but after they all left him to die in the attack, um, he asks Luther if he can be in the Queen's Guard, and he says, absolutely. Um, it's giving Golden Retriever, hence the picture that you somehow found of a golden retriever wearing armor. I Googled Golden Retriever Night.
SPEAKER_02Yes. There it was. This is very clearly probably an AI photo. Yeah. For the sake of humor, we have used it. It is.
SPEAKER_01I it's gonna generate it, it already existed.
SPEAKER_02And there is not Nary, there is Nery a physical description. I brought all three books to work. All three. And I dug and dug and dug, and I cannot find a single mention of what this man looks like. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I just cast an actor that I really like and hoped for the best.
SPEAKER_02I cast an actor that we really like and should be seen and welcomed back onto the scene, and we really like his wife, and if something happened to him, we'd be really sad. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Ready, go. Oh, I love him. That's not at all how I pictured Purr. Me neither.
SPEAKER_02Nope, not looks-wise. Um, guys, I have Macaulay Culkin. Yeah. We do love his wife. We love we love Brenda Song. Yes. I have finished uh both seasons of Running Point. Yes, we're here for season three. Yes, and I love that he is a reoccurring character in it. He just keeps showing up as this man with season tickets, and I think it's so precious. Um and I was just, I couldn't think of who the fuck Berth would be. I was like, I don't know his age. I don't know, I don't know anything about him other than his heart. And so I chose someone who we love based on their heart. And that's Macaulay Culkin. Fantastic.
SPEAKER_01Thank you. Um I have Chris Messina.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That's a good one. I know that he's in the Mindy project. I've never seen the Mindy Project. Me neither. I know him from a smattering of one-op rolls. Like he's the cop in Sinners with Amy Adams, and he like is in a bunch of uh small things. There's a not small things, he has a bunch of like sort of more side parts in a lot of things. And I it's a running joke in our house that there's like several actors that I just adore and will watch whatever they're in. And Ian just collectively refers to all of them as your boy. And so this is my boy, Christmas Cena. Yeah. Remember their names. There are boys in it. We should watch it. And I'm like, which one? Like, who are we talking about? This is my boy. We have a roster, Ian. This is my specific. Uh learn their names. So I just really like Christmas Cena. I s he has like a he has kind eyes and kind features. And I don't know that I could see him wielding a sword, but I could definitely see him like wanting to do good and like protect Teller and being willing to sacrifice himself for Diem and Teller. I just think he's charming.
SPEAKER_02I again feel like we are we're so in sync on the vibes. Yeah. Cause like, you know, Macaulay Culkin could probably not. I mean, he he could wield a sword, but he wouldn't would never, you know, it's it's someone who's like, I have to do the right thing. I also feel like Chris Bessina has also he's always plays like the good boyfriend.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Or the good, the good man. Like he's the good man. He's always like the good, yeah, the good cop. Perth is like could be on the older side. Like he worked in the armory. Like, and when you work in the armory, you're just kind of like a regular, degular dude, is what I would imagine.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I saw him as like kind of older, n was a soldier, maybe because it was expected of him, but wanted something chiller, which is why he worked in the armory and only decided to take a more active role to protect Diem. And because his family was all like burn to death, peace. And like We don't care. Yeah. Um, yeah, I really like him. Wanted to like go to war, like, was like uh wanted to learn how to fight to protect people, not to hurt people.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, fuck yeah, Perth Bennett.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we love Perth. We do. He's still alive. He's still alive in my heart. Okay, moving on. House Hanna Bear. It's giving Vaughn traps.
SPEAKER_00Give the fuck traps.
SPEAKER_01Take it away. This is a lot to read. Okay, here we go.
SPEAKER_02Ready?
SPEAKER_01Paraphrase, not about it.
SPEAKER_02Oh we got him. House Hanna Bear. We put all three of the Hannah Bears that we are casting. Ileana, Martha. Is it Martha? Did we say that? Martha. Marth. Okay.
SPEAKER_01The audiobook.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Um, Ileana, Marth, and Jean. Uh, you know, another way to say it is it's giving white supremacists.
SPEAKER_01Giving Nazi is what it's gonna be. It's giving Nazi.
SPEAKER_02That's why I went Sound of Music.
SPEAKER_01Seamlessly, the Bontraps are they riff the Nazi flag. But you do. They do, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Good not. Okay. Um Ileana is Luther Corbat's former lover. Ileana is a symbol of the complex alliances and rivalries between the House Hanover and House Corbois. Ileana is ambitious as she is cunning with a power-hungry personality and a flair for manipulation. She is skilled at navigating court politics. Jean is the strongest magic wielder wielder of House Hanover. Jean is both a formidable descendant and a controversial figure. Jean shares his grandmother Marth's sharp wit, cunning nature, and ruthless ambition, making him a key player in the house quest for power.
SPEAKER_01Pause for one second. In an attempt to fit this picture of the Von Traps on this slide, I cut something important from this copy, which is why he's a controversial figure, and that is because he is in the white supremacist house that hates mortals while frequently sleeping with mortal women and fathering half-free children.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So he'd be a hypocrite of the worst variety.
SPEAKER_02Oh, he sure is. And we're gonna find that out in book three. Book three, which made his casting very difficult for me. I had a hard time. You already know who your Zalaric is. I do.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I do too. They don't look anything alike. It's fine.
SPEAKER_02Not at all. Mm-mm. Uh, and it's fine. I don't care. Marth is the current leader of House Hanna Bear. Marth is sharp-tongued and calculating with a knock. A knock. A knack for exploring. She might have a knock too. Who knows? She might. A knack for exploiting weaknesses in her enemies. Marth is fiercely protective of her house interests. Her strong stance on moral relations reflects the house dis house's disdain for moral influence in descended politics. I it was giving uh uh the lead of the house Tyrell a little bit. A little bit. Uh very like, I will do what I need to do and everybody needs to fall in line. Their whole house is really icky.
SPEAKER_01Um icky and gross. It's probably incestuous. It's definitely incestuous. Yeah. They're super racist. Yeah. Uh just gross. Yes. Um straight up sorry, don't they straight up ask or say that the only reason they won't uh challenge Diem is if she like fully executes all mortal, not just like pushes them out of the country, but kills them.
SPEAKER_02Kills them all. Yeah. Yeah. Kills them all. And their their literal symbol is uh a white unicorn with unicorn? I think it's a unicorn or a horse or something. Yeah. It's like a white animal with a a drop of blood to show their pure blood. Pure blood. So I said, gross. Ick. Let's pick some people that'll make me mad and we'll we'll worry about Zalaric fitting into the picture later.
SPEAKER_01He takes after his mother. Okay. Yeah. Um, I actually really like all the actors that I cast, but I could easily hate them as well. Okay. Mm-hmm. Where do you say go? Go. Oh. We're really good at this. Yeah, we are.
SPEAKER_02We're really good at this. Okay, guys, we have uh Emily has Dove Cameron. Excellent. What a mean girl. Um, respectfully. And I have Renee Rapp. What a mean girl, uh disrespectfully. Um yeah.
SPEAKER_00Dragtory.
SPEAKER_02Drag Dory. As soon as I said something to you about bitch and I put positive. Positive.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, you call me a boss bitch because I was like, boss bitch.
SPEAKER_02I say like bitch is a good thing to me, a bitch.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like I'll never be like, You're a bitch. If I do, it's not me. So I have Renee Rap. I once I started reading, as soon as they were like, she's blonde and her, she they so House Hannah Ver is also a military family, which probably is also why I was like Von Trapp. Uh they're like a military family. So I was like, who's kind of like uh an army brat feeling? And Renee Rapp. I don't know. Uh I thought she quit acting. She's been on the Sony lot doing um uh the morning show. I haven't seen her personally, other people have. I guess she's in this other seed. So I guess she's done from her acting retirement. She's back now. She's not just a musician or whatever. Um yeah, I just think that she would be a choice. And I liked it because she's mean.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Um, also why I picked Dub Cameron. Um I find Dove Cam Dove Cameron fascinating in the best way. I completely forgot that she's in Shield. And yeah. Holy shit. So when you're not sure. Because it was like when the descended, oh my god. Where's whole? She is in in shield. She plays like trained from birth military assassin. And I find her as like ethereal and otherworldly as Anya Taylor Joy. And I don't know why she's not as in that in that space. I find her fascinating to look at, and I think she's actually I have not seen Descended, but in Shield, she's pretty good. And I she is hot enough to be Luther's former lover and hang with that crowd and in that space. And also, I think she could probably kill you with her bare hands.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I like that a lot too. She's in um a new show that came out with um uh Avon uh uh Avon Joika.
SPEAKER_00Oh, however you say his name.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, Halsby's Halsey's husband, who I literally was like, Dev Cameron is Violet, and he is Zayden in my like first fan cast of this entire podcast.
SPEAKER_01I've been violet for sure.
SPEAKER_02Oh, she's teensy tiny and looks like she could subjugate her shoulders all the time. Um I think that's a yeah, she's a really good Iliana mean girl.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01Mean girl positive.
SPEAKER_02Mean girl positive. Okay. Our next blonde is here. We go. Yep. We got it. We're on it. I was like, okay, it's gotta be. Like they're how Sanavera's blonde. They're blonde. They're the Targaryens. I Googled blonde men. Blonde men. Blonde men. Yep. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Came up with Jamie Campbell Bauer. Yeah, go ahead. You go first. I have Jamie Campbell, but that's all I gotta say. I think he's we don't know a lot about Sean, except he's blonde and he's a dick. And is also kind of intimidating. And I feel like Jamie Campbell Bauer does fantasy historical stuff a lot. So like would fit in the realm. He also looks like when we're talking about the hierarchy of hot men of like Faye Prince, Goblin, Dwarf, like our categories of hot men, he is definitely uh Elven Prince. And I think that works. They have to they carry themselves with so much haughtiness that they have to be like pristine. He was also a backup aim for me. Um, but I like he I think he looks like he could be Dave Cameron's older brother. So do you got?
SPEAKER_02Um I have Jake Lacey, who people know from The Office, people know from uh White Lotus. Um he notoriously plays a dick.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, he is always just a bad man, a bad partner. Um, I think him and Renee Rapp could play siblings very easily. They both have kind of wider set eyes and like upturned noses, very same fa same um face structure. I was like looking at side by sides and was like, oh, I think that they could really do it. The only problem is I have no idea how he will father the child, but um, I don't care. Like if he found out that he fathered a half-mortal child, how would he react? He would act like it didn't exist. Right? And so I'm like, who's gonna act like the problem doesn't exist? And that's where I went digging in White Lotus and found Jake Lacy. Yeah. I was like, that's him. I'm gonna go with it.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_01I love it. Okay, our final blonde. Our matriarch final blonde. I'm gonna say, real quick, just because there's a real issue of like casting older women in Hollywood. I didn't go quite old enough, but I am defending that by the saying that the fact that they're descended and they don't age normally. So don't come at me. I didn't go quite as old as I think Martha really is. Like we could go full crone. Yeah. I didn't do that.
SPEAKER_02I didn't I did respectfully to this woman, slight crone. Yeah. Medium crone. Medium crone.
SPEAKER_01We go. An appropriate amount of crones. Yes. You have the correct age. I went with face. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You want to know something? You're not wrong because Michelle Pfeiffer, respectfully, has aged.
SPEAKER_01Uh I'll find older pictures of pictures of her older, and I this is I don't know. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02It's um she did a Christmas movie that just came out last year. She was very good. I love her. She's a wonderful actress. She's in a ton of other shit right now, too. She's in a bunch of stuff. She just had a show come out that she's like the main character in this show. I don't think you're right at all. I think that's great. I also she absolutely could play Dove Cameron's mom. Holy fuck.
SPEAKER_01Right? Dove Cameron and Jamie Campbell Bauer's mom? 100%.
SPEAKER_02With cheekbones for days.
SPEAKER_01In Margot's Got Money Trouble. And then obviously she's Janet Van Van Dyme from Or Man and the Wasp. And a bunch of she's fucking Catwoman. She's Catwoman. She's Brittany Snow's mom and hairspray.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. So she wore crabs. She's already got practice with terrible bloodlines and racism. Um I think she's an excellent choice. And I don't think that I think that you fell right into the correct age range and of of Crone.
SPEAKER_01I'm obsessed with your choice.
SPEAKER_02Thank you. Um, I have Jessica Lang. Because what a bitch. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't watch American Horror Story, but I know like that she's phenomenal in it. And I feel like it's the same. Yes.
SPEAKER_02And I just feel like she's gonna take her spindly finger, and she's not that old. She's this bitch is glamorous. She's so glamorous. She once came into Amazing Grace Cafe in Duluth when I worked there. Cause she's her and her husband.
SPEAKER_00Duluth, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yep. And they uh her they came in and I served her and she was lovely, and she knew that everyone knew who she was because American Horror Story was just starting to come out. And she was just a peach. I love her to death, and she's so uh shitty in all the roles that ple she plays that I I think she's the the perfect amount of you have dirty blood.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I would believe her when she's like one more thing, sign this blood oath that says you'll kill all of the mortals.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01I would believe either one of these women saying that.
SPEAKER_02And then like berating her at the ball. Oh yeah. Like coming up and just fucking embarrassing the shit out of her. Both of these women would have no problem doing that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Love them. Good for us.
SPEAKER_01Girls. Okay. Oh yeah. Simon. Okay. Okay. You go ahead, girl. Queen's chief centenary is first seen at the coronation ball. He's described as a slender man with eyes like two onyx pits of eternal night. His features are similarly dark, his hair neatly cut, his goatee carefully groomed. He wears a smirk filled with all of the smug triumph of somebody who had just won a game without even bothering to play. His voice is rich and its energy drips with languished sexuality. Did you write this? This is amazing. It's giving Jafar.
SPEAKER_02That is perfect. That is that is lifted right from the book from when she first sees him. Emily, I have news. From when she first sees him at the ball, and he is accompanied with the Queen of Umbros. She is there. Yes, she is. I fucking You knew it. She was there. And she re that's where she first recognizes her. She does not really interact with her, but she sees her from afar because she sends Simon up and she's watching.
SPEAKER_01Honestly, thank you. That has been keeping me up at night. I'm like, where did she see her?
SPEAKER_02Yes. Yep. Yep. And she's there. And then Simon goes up. And and this is word for word how he is described from the book.
SPEAKER_01He's like, this is really good.
SPEAKER_02Pen Cole. Good job. This is what I'm talking about. Her pros, her pros, it's beautiful. Now, girl, we needed you to describe Perth a little, but it's all right. She's gonna say he's six feet under now. Um because she's mean. Okay, yeah. So um we have a photo of Jafar because it's giving Jafar.
SPEAKER_01Simon is also terrible, like routinely assaults DM in her mind and also fully kills that woman at the boat, right? 100%. Yeah, well, and then she lives, but like yes. He intends to kill. He's an awful fuck. He wanted to kill all of them. I just knew who I pictured the whole time. Yes. Um I'm trying to remember the actual character's name, but from Avengers, Thanos' sidekick with the slick back, who like flicks his fingers and things go. Not from Midnight, but the other what I cannot remember his name, but he's got the like and he like it's when Tony Sark is like, I'm sorry, Earth is closed today. Um Ebony Maw.
SPEAKER_02Ebony Ma. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. This took me a really long time, but I think I like mine. I'm excited to see who you came up with. Okay. Okay. Ready, set go.
unknownYep.
SPEAKER_01Oh okay.
SPEAKER_02You have Robert Sheehan. Tell me all about it. Dude, I have Robert Sheehan. I pictured him right off the bat from Umbrella Academy. Those who who don't know him, he is from Umbrella Academy. He plays, I don't know which number, I think four. I think he's four. And he um can speak to the dead. He uh is very spiritual. He kind of like walks around and like he doesn't wear a shirt most of the time. He wears leather pants, he's very like touchy-feely to things.
SPEAKER_01He's like a cult leader for a little bit.
SPEAKER_02He's a cult leader for a little bit. He's um runs like a uh fake, like tarot speak to the dead service for a bit. Yeah. He is one of my favorite characters ever. And there was something about the way that Simon was written that immediately he came into my head, and I was like, oh my god, like if we grew his hair like that little longer and grew his goatee a little longer, and he would like when she he when he's giving Diem the visions of them like in the sheets together, and like she's like, her hand is like down his torso and stuff. I was gonna put a shirtless photo of him here, but I was like, nah, well, let's let's keep it nice. Yes. Um, but this is a really uh great photo from an editorial he did in uh GQ when Umbrella Academy final season was going. I just think, yeah, I think he would be great. And where has he been since Umbrella Academy? We love him. Bring him back.
SPEAKER_01I am obsessed and I love that choice. I couldn't think of anybody, and I Googled creepy actors, and I do know this actor, but couldn't tell you from where. Like the moment his face came up, I was like, oh, I know that guy. That guy's perfect. Um, David Gastmalchin, literally so creepy in all things. And I I don't know that he's attractive enough. I forgot that he was Simon was described as like languidly sexual, which I don't know applies. All all respect and love, perfectly attractive person. Um, but definitely creepy, slimy in your brain, freaking me out, uh, kind of vibes 100%. He's in Dune and he's in Oppenheimer.
SPEAKER_02He's in something else like a superhero show.
SPEAKER_01Suicide Squad.
SPEAKER_02Suicide. There we go.
SPEAKER_01He's in Suicide Squad.
SPEAKER_02That's what it was. I was like, I see him. I don't know what it's from. I also almost did Crispin Glover. Oh, that's a good one too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02That's a really good one, too.
SPEAKER_01I think you should win.
SPEAKER_02Thank you. Um, I don't not love yours. I can't believe I'm about to say this. Uh I don't think he's ugly. I don't like I I don't think he's ugly either.
SPEAKER_01I just don't know very sexual.
SPEAKER_02I think he could be sexual because I think, okay, I feel like like she's not attracted to his sexuality. Right, that's true. It's like an off-putting of sexuality. And he's confident in it, right? Like he's like, oh hey, what's up? And I could see him being like that and like to the point where she was like, ew, yeah, get out of my head. What the fuck are you doing? Yeah, I actually like your choice a lot too. Okay, good. I think it's I think it's very thoughtful. I think it really fits the entire vibe too. Robert Sheehan's just hot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Robert Sheehan's really hot. I forgot we were talking how much I loved his character journey in Umbrella Academy with the whole with the war flash battle. He he's the best character of Umbrella Academy. Yeah. Good luck to the fans.
SPEAKER_02Ten toes down. Yes, good luck.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_02And next, who are we getting into now? Some crappy Our last one. Ron Kislain. Archer. From show Archer. Archer from the show Archer. Yeah, go for it. Okay, Ron Kislain. Ron is known for his violent actions, including this is so funny with a picture of Archer right there.
unknownI can't get over it.
SPEAKER_01I was like, aggressive man who is just failing up and like doesn't I yeah. I also haven't seen it in forever. This could be wrong, but this is what I was getting.
SPEAKER_02Nope, it's perfect. Okay, who is Ron? Ron, and it's Giz Lane, right?
SPEAKER_00That's what they say.
SPEAKER_02Okay, now I want to say Gislane, because I call her Gislaine Maxwell because I hate her.
SPEAKER_01She deserves to be referred to as Jiz. Yeah, we do say Gizlane in the audiobook.
SPEAKER_02Giz Lane. Giz Lane. Okay, Ron is known for his violent actions, including the murder of a half-mortal child he sired and the child's mother in broad daylight. Which he orchestrated right there. Which he orchestrated in order to maintain his family's power. Not a strong magic wielder, his desire to appease house hierarchy leads him to engage in underhanded tactics, manipulation, and even murder when necessary. Despite being the weakest perceived house, he's willing to use any means necessary to secure his family's position, regardless of the moral cost. Which is Archer. He wants to keep his money. He wants to keep being important, so he'll do whatever he needs to do. Yeah. That's it. Um, do you have anything to say before yours?
SPEAKER_01No, just remember that I said I have been watching SHILED recently.
SPEAKER_02Okay. I have one thing to say about Maya. I think he's the perfect fit for for headline reasons.
SPEAKER_01Oh god. Okay.
SPEAKER_02And I'll let everyone be the judge of that.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02I don't think maybe he or his other headline sharer should really be in anything for a bit. They need they need to cool it for a minute. But go go ahead.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, don't cast him in things. Justin Baldone. No. Okay. This is the only acceptable role. Because he dies horrifically.
SPEAKER_02And he sucks.
SPEAKER_01And he sucks ass.
SPEAKER_02He sucks ass. I have Justin Baldone, guys. I don't think that this man should work. I don't think Blake Lively should work. I think they're both fucking crazy. And that show was a nightmare.
SPEAKER_01I think both people are like, who said or were you? Who sided? Who's out here? They both fucking suck. They both suck. They're both mean. They're both terrible. They both did terrible things. Everybody sucks.
SPEAKER_02They both suck. Get rid of get them out of Hollywood. Both are goodbye. Get out of here. So if we have to pick someone who would suck and murder in broad daylight because it makes his image better, as we can see, like tore down everybody else in the industry. Justin Baldoni is the choice. And that's all I have to say on that. Okay.
SPEAKER_01I have Brett Dalton, which kind of started as a little bit of an inside joke between me and me, uh, watching SHIELD because I joke between you and you. An inside joke between me and all the people that live in my head. Uh so he's in Shield. He plays Grant Ward, who is spoilers for this Decade Dill TV show, a traitor. He's been Hydra the whole time. He kills a bunch of people. He turns into an ancient god from a different planet and they douse him shirtless and honey, which was like a little bit of a little bit of a little bit about that. Um, but here's why I cast Brett why why I have come around to the fact that this is more than just like I needed to cast somebody and he was on my screen when I was making this. Um Brett Dalton, objectively hot, and all descended are hot. This is facts so far. An exceptionally punchable hot man. Like, even when you think that he's shield and he's on the right side, I'm still like, God, you have such an ego and you're so I just want to smush your face. And then the moment he turns evil, he does it so good and so convincingly. Because I then I also think he could do the like, don't kill me. I'm fine, I'm gonna give myself up as long as you don't kill me. I'm so sorry, I'll be on your side, and then like stab you in the back. I genuinely think that I would buy Brett Dalton through the whole thing. And I won't uh where has he been?
SPEAKER_02I don't know what he's been up to. I have no idea. I have no idea.
SPEAKER_01Um they could have easily written him out of SHIELD at literally every turn. He's really good and he must also be delightful to work with, otherwise he would have been written off that show.
SPEAKER_02Now, if he's really good, I'm very confused as why the rest of his work is hallmark movies. Because he's hot. Once upon a Christmas, just my type. He's in Found. Is that a TV show we haven't watched? I don't know what that is. Found. Seems to be a TV show we've never watched. Cooking with Love, Lost in Florence, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone. Wow. One one December night. This man is just in all the Hallmark Christmas movies. Yeah. Oh, he he's been in Chicago Fire, which feels right.
SPEAKER_01He has.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, a little bit.
SPEAKER_01He was. Okay, yes. I did used to watch that show, and I do remember being like, Grant Ward.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. In in 2013. So that feels right. That's a really good one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I and I would rather see him cast than Justin Baldone. Justin Baldoni's only here because I want to punch him in the face.
SPEAKER_01Fair. And I want to see DM disintegrate him to prove a point. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And and all that being said, uh, I don't like Blake Lively either. So and I don't like Ryan Reynolds. And I'm upset with Taylor Swift right now.
SPEAKER_01So Okay. That's I don't think we have time to unpack all of that. I think we're sharing.
SPEAKER_02You're welcome. I'm just encompassing everybody in this lawsuit that is pissing me off because it affects my work. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Oh, got it. I see.
SPEAKER_02Is that it?
SPEAKER_00That's it.
SPEAKER_02We got through it. Wait, we did get that was like quicker. Wow. I know. We're getting really good. I thought 11 characters was gonna take forever. It didn't. We're really good at this. We know who we want. We know our choices.
SPEAKER_01We know why we cast them. We are better at explaining them. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And we're on that same page a lot. Now, uh, Famcast, you guys have to make some really hard choices. And I can't help you with that. We've done what we can do.
SPEAKER_01We've done all we can do. It's up to you now.
SPEAKER_02It's up to you. So head over to our Instagram this coming Friday, our fan cast Friday. That will be what? June 5th?
SPEAKER_00June 5th? Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02June 5th, Fancast Friday. That is when you can go to our stories. Please cast your vote. We want your voice to be heard. Your voice is always heard. We do not fix anything. I screenshot all of them and then I send them to Emily and she puts them in a slide. Okay, guys. Well, that's it for our fancast. Like we said, please go vote and uh catch us next week for our uh recap of Heat of the Everflame, where we're going to be screaming, crying, and throwing up. Mm-hmm. Because now we have to wait till September. We might say mean things about you, but we say them with love and it's hurt our feelings a little bit. And I'm really mad. I'm really I'm really not really upset about it and I'm really nervous for Burn of the Everflame. I didn't think I would be. I am very nervous about it. It's gonna be fine.
SPEAKER_01I feel like you weren't fully appreciating how much of a pickle I was saying DM was in when I was telling you she was in a pickle. And I feel like maybe I let you down by referring to it as a pickle. No, no.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm I'm glad all you said was a pickle because I was I was drowned in the the jar that is the pickle jars. There was so many pickles.
SPEAKER_01There was a pickle, multiple pickles.
SPEAKER_02So many pickles. It was all the pickles. It was it was an entire tub of grillos pick pickles. It was a lot. And I was did not expect it, actually. I was like, whoa, this is way worse than I thought it was gonna be.
SPEAKER_01Well, I kind of did want you to be blindsided because I was blindsided.
SPEAKER_02Oh no, I fully was. Yeah, okay. And I did not, yeah, I did not expect I think I'm getting better at not spoiling things. No, yeah, yes, you are. Yes, you are no. No, you want to mess with I was doing the Minnesotan love, like, no, yeah. No, yeah, I know. No yeah, no yeah. Okay, guys, let's get the fuck out of here. Uh, we do want to plug that in nine weeks, nine short weeks. Emily and I will be in Nashville at the Forbidden Love book convention party. All masquerade things, masquerade all the things for uh Che and Tropes. You can see us there. We will be there on Friday, Saturday, uh heading out on Sunday. But we'll be around, we'll be walking around Nashville, we'll be at the event. Please come say hi, please come get some merch, spin a wheel, get a prize, do a fan cast. And uh you may see us hosting a romance, uh a dark romance panel with some of your favorite authors. So come check it out. Come check it out, and you'll uh see our fun cosplays, outfits.
SPEAKER_01And if you know how to travel cross country with a prize wheel in your suitcase, let us know.
SPEAKER_02Okay, guys, thanks for uh hanging out with us. We'll see you guys next time to all you she's, the he's the they's the gays, the chateau daddies, and the fays. Good night.
